Alexander Hypes

Oculus

Alex received both Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Mechanical Engineering from WVU. His main research focus is on autonomous space mining control and navigation using WVU's Mountaineer Mining Vehicle (MMV) as a research platform.

Outside of the lab, Alex is an avid rock climber and also enjoys soccer, hiking, and mountain biking.
