Dylan Covell
Dylan Covell is currently pursuing a MS in Mechanical Engineering. He
received a BS in Mechanical Engineering from WVU in 2019. Dylan is
primarily interested in robotic platform design, exoskeleton and
prosthetic development, and automated hardware design. He currently
leads the platform design and development of the ongoing Fast Traversing
Autonomous Rover for Mars Sample Collection project. Before joining
IRL, he led the Science subteam for Team Mountaineer in the 2018-2019
University Rover Challenge (URC) competition, and continues to
participate in the URC competition as a mentor.
In his spare time, Dylan also conducts amateur computer repair and automotive repair.
