Scott Harper

Scott Harper received his Master's Degree in Aerospace Engineering at West Virginia University in 2018 and his Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from West Virginia University in 2015. He has been involved with IRL since 2013 and has designed and constructed the electrical systems for many research platforms including WVU's Phastball UAVs and Cataglyphis rover. For his graduate studies, Scott is developing methods to construct and instrument robotic tensegrity structures to be used as mobility systems. Scott received WVU Student Employee of the Year Award in 2016. Outside of the lab Scott enjoys hiking, mountain biking, and STEM Outreach.
