Lisa Kogan
Lisa Kogan received her Master's of Science in Mechanical Engineering at WVU in 2017 under the advisement of Dr. Sergiy Yakovenko. She received her B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Waterloo in Waterloo, Ontario, Canada. Her current area of research is in biomechanics and motor control, specifically using transcranial magnetic stimulation to examine the behaviour of corticospinal excitability in humans during walking.
Lisa led the later stage mechanical design and fabrication of Cataglyphis, the WVU robot that successfully completed the NASA Sample Return Robot Challenge.
Lisa enjoys spending time outdoors running/hiking, climbing, and biking with friends.
